Creation Records pioneers Jasmine Minks are to play their first gig in more than ten years next month.

The Aberdeen band, whose ‘Think’ single was the fourth ever release for Alan McGee’s label, will perform at London’s Borderline on Saturday, July 23.

The Jasmine Minks own label, Oatcake Records have just released the 4trk ‘Poppy White EP’

This 4 track EP is dedicated to the memory of 2 guys very important in the Minks, sadly with us no more. All proceeds from this sale will go to the MacMillan Cancer Support charity

Singer Jim Shepherd said: “I’m confident that we can still excite. It will be a great get together for us and our London friends, old and new.”

  1. Wonderful blog! I found it while surfing around on Yahoo News. Do you have any suggestions on how to get listed in Yahoo News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Appreciate it

  2. The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

  3. I found your blog website on google and verify a few of your early posts. Proceed to keep up the superb operate. I just further up your RSS feed to my MSN Information Reader. Looking for forward to studying extra from you in a while!…
