Ian McCulloch puts together a Liverpool sourced supergroup with Ian Broudie and John Power.

McCulloch is currently set to play an acoustic UK solo tour, one of the scheduled dates being held in Manchester.

News has just reached us that McCulloch, will now be joined by Broudie and Power as they play The Factory club in Manchester this Thursday 20th September – thegroup will line-up as John Power on (Bass), Ian Broudie (Keyboards) and Mac on vocals, a full tour is being talked about with upcoming dates in Hull, Leeds & Newcastle.

McCulloch has previously been part of a ‘super-group’ though arguably in reverse…way back in 1977, McCulloch with Pete Wylie and Julian Cope formed The Crucial Three, the band got no further than naming themselves and proposing gigs though still managed to secure a position within the mythology of Liverpool punk history.
