Leftfield rockers Green Gardens, a blossoming Leeds band, embody an impromptu spirit. With funky riffs and exhilarating choruses, Green Gardens are as much a vehicle of energy as they are an outlet of true expression.

Real exploratory sincerity sets Green Gardens apart from the faithful ‘boys with guitars’ formula as darker themes simmer behind the facade of a smiling four piece in a mixture of old school and current influences. Saying this, their debut release hints at tones of The Beach Boys harmonies, lucious guitar work streaming down from the back catalogue of The Byrds and leaving an overall feeling of green fields and summer meadows landscapes on a summers day. Great stuff!

The band’s catchy debut single I’ve Wanted embodies this warm new sound behind an irresistible hook. The song shows off the bands unique mix of old and new, while still exhibiting the bands forward-thinking outlook on their ever-developing music.
