Great looking night of heavy electronics and spoken word in Salford with the Quietus and G.N.O.D.More information on the night from here

When I was young I wanted a hole in the ground to gape open and swallow me up… No, that’s not it at all… When I was young I wanted a hole in the sky to gape open and swallow everyone and everything up until there was nothing left.”

Marking the first in a series of music and spoken word collaborations happening all across England over the next 12 months, sublime psychonauts GNOD and elemental electronicists H.U.M. are collaborating with the Quietus editor John Doran on a special performance in Salford this Friday Oct 28th at the Eagle in Salford backed by GNOD and H.U.M. on occult electronics:

Fat Out Til You Pass Out is presenting the night of heavy electronics and spoken word at The Eagle Inn, next Friday (28/11/14) with support from cult Italian electronic musicians Mai Mai Mai and Simon Wildfrid DJing.

The Quietus editor has a book (Jolly Lad) and a collaborative spoken word album (Hubris) coming out next year via Strange Attractor and The Quietus Phonographic Corporation, with the latter featuring musical talent from Manic Street Preachers, British Sea Power, Factory Floor, Grumbling Fur, East India Youth, Eccentronic Research Council, Arabrot, Perc, English Heretic and Teeth Of The Sea.

The night looks great and features John Doran doing a reading about a serial killer flaying Dapper Laughs alive, discussing which Mancunian bus routes are haunted, a reading from my book Jolly Lad and summoning a black hole to end all things.
There is a two AM bar in case the black hole doesn’t arrive.
