Ideal is, by far, the best comedy on TV at the moment, surreal, inventive and genuinely unhinged it stars Johnny Vegas as an out of sorts, small time drug dealer in a role that is as manic as it is plain odd.
A cast of bizarro characters flits by in his fucked up life and the seedy, down at heel oddness is classic British comedy that stretches from Steptoe and Son to Father Ted.
Creator Graham Duff who plays Brian in the series also has a music taste that is as off the wall and brilliant as his comic creation.
