6. Arular – M.I.A.

Brutal and groovy, a tricky one to pull off. Tackhead maybe managed it, not many do. I love M.I.A, she’s unique and consistently tossing out grenades of stunning inventiveness. Undoubtedly inspired by Missy Elliott. Lyrically and musically, an A- bomb of a debut.
