GOOD VIBRATIONSPerhaps the world’s most famous record store, Good Vibrations, is to close for the 11th and final time.

The legendary store, fronted by the garrulous and charismatic Terry Hooley has been at the forefront of the Belfast music scene for decades, especially in the punk era when it fronted the Good Vibrations label who released classic singles by Rudi, the Outcasts and the Undertones amongst many others and was the heartbeat of a very special music scene and was recently made the subject of one of the great music films, Good Vibrations.

Always a port of call in Belfast the shop and Terry Holley are so much part of the city’s cultural landscape that it is hard to believe they won’t be around any more.
