LTW : Lonnie Liston Smith, Jr. (born December 28, 1940) is an American jazz, soul, and funk musician who played with notable jazz artists such as Pharoah Sanders and Miles Davis before forming Lonnie Liston Smith And The Cosmic Echoes, recording a number of albums widely regarded as classics in the fusion / Quiet Storm / smooth jazz and acid jazz genres.

Egg : This is the kind of record that makes me want to build a spaceship that takes music out to alien worlds and spread the groove, I first got into this guy after hearing “Shadows” sampled by Roni Size in 94, I was listening to loads of drum and Bass at the time and the search for samples became a hobby, on top of that my mate once desribed the sample as sounding like Peter Parker on a day off, so now I always think of Spiderman walking down the street with a fag in his hand.   Good Times.
