Keith Goldhanger, in association with Louder Than War, presents another episode of his exclusive video-documentary series “Goldhanger Shorts”(more info here).

Today the focus is on the London band with a very long name.

It took a rather long time to actually understand what this band were all about for at least one of us. I was briefly in a band with Andy Heinz and we weren’t called Creaming Jesus (That would have been Ridiculous).
Now onto their third album and with a committed following TMTWNBBFN (to give it the short title) look as though they may become one of those “Overnight sensations” we often find ourselves reading about regardless that the “Overnight” bit may be as long as a decade.
The band would have been across the US by the time you read this, played on the main stage at download and probably ridiculed me for not reading their Wikipedia page close enough.
They’ll no doubt will have gathered even more additions to their fast increasing fan base as well.
It’s labelled ‘Steampunk’ which means there’ll always be plenty of folk willing to dress up for any occasion connected with this band.

Keith Goldhanger -- Spent the 90's as a frontman with London noisemerchants HEADBUTT - spent the 80's in "Peel favourites" BASTARD KESTREL. Spent a few years mashing up tunes and remixing bands as HIDEOUS WHEEL INVENTION. Is often out and about getting in the way of things and bumping his head on low ceilings - drinks real ale, takes photo's has made a few short films. Will give your band the time of day but will dislike any band that balances full pints of alcohol on the top of guitar amps (Not keen on lead singers that wear hats either).
