Full Monty Python Line Up To Reunite On StageAll of the surviving members of comedy group Monty Python are to reform for a stage show, one of the Pythons, Terry Jones, has confirmed.

Monty Python impacted comedy like the Beatles impacted pop music and were very much part of the late sixties, early seventies culture shift. They’ve been working on endless projects since they split in the late seventies with their members becoming household names.

Their surreal take on comedy that had been, in turn, influenced by the great Spike Milligan, informed a generation and rarely for UK comedy they managed to break the USA too.

“We’re getting together and putting on a show – it’s real,” Jones told the BBC.

“I’m quite excited about it. I hope it makes us a lot of money. I hope to be able to pay off my mortgage!”

The reunion is expected to be announced officially at a press conference being held in London on Thursday.
