Louder Than War Exclusive Stream: The New Tusk – Mine To Breathe
After receiving great acclaim for the records first single, ‘I Feel It On My Chest’ (see video here) the band have continued to make a name for themselves in the lead up to release day by playing a whole bunch of shows around the UK.
The album opens as it intends to go on, with the gut shredding ‘Much Better’, and it doesn’t let up for a single damn second with the entire thing sounding like Jawbreaker on speed.
This is pop-punk that is not intended for the feint of heart.
Seemingly drawing influence from the multitude of bands who lived on Asian Man Records in the mid-nineties, The Honor System and The Broadways to name just two, what this record does is prove that a somewhat forgotten branch of the punk rock tree is still growing strong and is very much able to bear fruit.
But don’t take my word for it! You can listen to the damn thing below!
