EP Premiere: Red Oblivion – My Friend Fear

It gives us great pleasure to be able to present for you today a first listen to the new EP by New York alt-rock trio Red Oblivion, My Friend Fear.

A bit of history first. Red Oblivion originally discovered their recipe for rock ‘n roll in Boston, MA in 2011 where Zach Adams (vocals/bass), Emma Torres (guitar, background vocals), and Carson Groenewold (drums)  were students at the Berklee College of Music. After the release of their first EP Simple, the band were selected to represent Berklee College of Music at Lollapalooza in Chicago 2012. The following year, Red Oblivion continued to spread their rock ‘n roll attitude internationally and garnered attention and multiple invitations from large festivals, such as, SXSW, Lollapalooza Chile, Lollapalooza Brazil, and Vive Latino. In 2013, the band convened to record their forthcoming EP My Friend Fear, which you can check out in full below.

The EP demonstrates the band intertwining their knack for songwriting, composition and their affinity for rock’s edgy and seductive properties.

You can find the band online at their website: redoblivion.com or on Facebook. They also have a Youtube channel and tweet as @RedOblivionBand.

Buy the EP from the band’s website or iTunes.

Now sit back and enjoy My Friend Fear… (and apologies if you’re on a mobile device, this can only be seen on a pc.)
