Domino Records launch Domino Radio

Domino Records have announced they are to launch Domino Radio

Domino Records, have today confirmed that they are to launch the Domino Radio station; 24hr broadcasting will begin on the 6th June 2011 with shows being presented from the labels artist roster
which currently includes Animal Collective, Franz Ferdinand, Anna Calvi, and Four Tet.

Other personalities being invited to contribute include Dennis Bovell, Bobby Gillespie and representatives from linked record labels such as Transparent Records and Angular Records. Domino have produced a short promo video…

Domino describe the station as “a dynamic schedule celebrating exhilerating alternative arts and music loaded with indiviuality, free expression and all manner of sounds from around the world”

Domino can be heard in London on 87.7FM and across the world at www.Dominorad.io – even the URL is interesting, to get an unadulterated station name Domino have had to register the URL to the Indian Ocean region!

The only down side to all this is that the station at this stage only have a temporary one week broadcast licence.
