A three-pronged attack of new music from Wales will come hurtling over the Severn Bridge to London tomorrow night (Saturday 25Cymru Bam Thwok…).

Progressive-thinking promoters (and label) Bam Thwok will host Plant Duw at the Wilmington Arms in Clerkenwell, London, as a special night called ‘From Wales With Love’.

Plant Duw are favourites of Radio 1’s Huw Stevens and 6Music’s Marc Riley. They played their first London gig at Bam Thwok last October and fair blew the doors off! There will also be sublime sets from fellow Welsh folk Alex Dingley and Them Lovely Boys. Discs will be spun by DJ Jam Jar.

For ticket information go to:

or hunt down Bam Thwok on Facebook.

Bam Thwok’s mouthpiece said: “Anyone attending this event may wish to consider donating something to the Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff in honour of Alison Hale, a fan of Welsh music and a familiar face in the Newport music scene of the 1990s.”
