Culture Shock Reunion TourCulture Shock, the link between Subhumans and Citizen Fish, are back after 25 years for a tour this October.

A cult band in the mid 80s when they appealed to a mix of punks, new age travellers and assorted other reprobates with their mix of punk, ska and reggae they were a regular site at free festivals.

During their career they released three albums (or a 12 inch and 2 albums for the pedants among you), all on Bluurg Records. They also more recently released a box set, appropriately titled “Everything”, and it’s partly as a result of interest in this that the tour has come about.

Frontman Dick has been elusive regarding an interview but we know you lovely Louder Than War readers wouldn’t want to miss out.

Snippets of video (below) from a warm up gig in Bath indicate they should be putting on an excellent show.

Nathan got bitten by the punk rock bug at the tender age of 7, when The Kids Were United and Sid Was Innocent. Since then, inspired by the anarcho-punk movement he has played in numerous bands including Armoured Flu Unit, Liberty, Abrazos, Whole In The Head & Haywire; written for zines, promoted gigs and was one half of DJ outfit Aggro-Culture Sound System. He has No Gods, No Masters and since meeting many of them has No More Heroes.

  1. The Facebook fan page isn’t the correct one :) also i created that video and don’t know who’s taking credit for it.
