Crystal Castles “Untrust Us” Covered By Capital Children’s Choir

Props & hat tips to our friends over at The Line Of Best Fit music blog for posting this quite amazing video first but I think it warrants our blatantly stealing of it from them as it’s quite amazing. Melancholic & at times controversial experimental electronic band Crystal Castles, famed for their chaotic live shows amongst other things (such as great music of course) have been “covered” by a children’s choir. Even though Crystal Castles are famed for commissioning remixes of their songs this we weren’t expecting! (I should point out that I’m pretty sure this want a commission but I’m willing to bet Ethan & Alice will love it).

As it says on the video’s Youtube page:

We wanted to cover Crystal Castles because we liked the idea of replacing their synths and percussion using only our voices and hands. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios.

The video was arranged and directed by Rachel Santesso & the recording engineer was Andrew Dudman.
