One of our favourite music events on the calender and one of the key breaking grounds for new bands, Camden Crawl has gone into liquidation.

The warning signs were already on the wall when it did not happen last year and its rebrand as CC14 this year was an attempt to clear the decks but finally acculamated debts have caught up with the 20 year old event.

The collapse of the festival has seen some bands not being made which has caused some twitter anger

An email from the event’s founder Lisa Paulon issued to Music Week stated: “Pease be aware [that] unfortunately Crawl Promotions Limited T/A Camden Crawl is experiencing financial difficulty. It is with great regret that the Board has decided that there is no option but to place the Company into Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation.’
