Number 3 Pulp ‘Common people’

Pulp had been around forever.
they had been around for so long that they managed to precede Britpop, Madchester, Shoegazing, new romantic and even post punk. Struggling around in Sheffield they suddenly found a huge audience for their smart and hip songs with pithy and funny lyrics which were perfectly captured on Common people an All the Yong Dudes for the Britpop generation. there can’t have ben a student disco in the whole of the UK not packed with ironic dancing to this mighty song.
