We are sorry to report the death of Peaches Geldof at the age of 25. The daughter of Bob Geldof was found dead at headdress in Kent – details are not yet forthcoming.
Kent Constabulary report they were called to an address near Wrotham, Kent following a report of concern for the welfare of a woman on Monday (7th April 2014) afternoon.
The woman, aged 25, was later pronounced dead by South East Coast Ambulance Service.
“At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and sudden” said a statement from Kent Constabulary.
Born in 1989, Peaches Honeyblossom Geldof lived her life in the public gaze – she began a media career aged just 15 when she wrote a column for Elle magazine; she later wrote for both the Telegraph and Guardian newspapers.
In addition worked as a model and, only last week, attended a major launch event for Tesco’s clothing range in London.
Geldof was married to musician Thomas Cohen they had two sons, Astala (1) and Phaedra (11mths)
Geldof lost her own mother when she was 11yrs old – TV presenter Paula Yates died of a drug overdose in September 2000; only yesterday 6th April Peaches posted a picture of her and her mother on Instagram with the comment “me and my mum”
