Bomb The Twist Presents: The Castle, Manchester

Bomb The Twist Presents a Night in Manchester

The Castle Hotel

5th October 2016

Leeds record label Bomb The Twist is taking over The Castle Hotel in Manchester’s Northern Quarter on the 5th of October with four bands, Bruja, Kath and The Kicks, Ecate and Nanna playing.

This is a rare chance to see the best of the Leeds indie scene on one night, with four bands playing for the price of a decent pint! Definitely a night not to miss.

BRUJA

Barnsley Gritty indie rock with a hint of 90’s grunge. These guys soak their sound in soaring riffs with a male/female vocal vibe. Unforgettably energetic!

‘Horsey & You’ (single promo)

Kath and The Kicks

Dirty, smack you in the face rock and roll from a band projecting true passion and searing melodies. Filthy garage rock meets Jack White, a blistering combination from this power trio.

‘Basement Bullets’  Live in Barnsley

ECATE

Original sounding punk meets garage rock, exclaiming a lack of satisfaction and inner empowerment. One half of Esper Scout, Kirsty on Bass and Sarah on Drums, provide the powerful undercurrent to their set while Chiara’s vocals snap over the top.

‘Loser’ (Single Promo)

Nanna

Check out Don’t Touch me on their bandcamp page below. Fuzz soaked garage rock with inciteful lyrics and glorious harmonies from Rosie and Gin.
