Bob Bert Gives Us His Favourite 10 AlbumsBob Bert is a bit of new York legend- after all, this was the drummer who played on those classic Sonic Youth records and then drummed for Pussy Galore- part primal, part smart his drumming is arguably the greatest on the post no wave scene. Still very much in demand he was playing for Lydia Lunch a fouple of weeks ago and is always popping up somewhere.

We asked Bob for his favourite ten albums and he replied with this interesting selection…

1. Velvet Underground & Nico

2. Stooges – Fun House

3. Bob Dylan – Blond On Blonde

4. New York Dolls

5. Modern Lovers

6 MC5 – High Times

7. Heartbreakers – L.A.M.F

8. Richard Hell and The Voidoids

9. No New York Comp

10. Buzzcocks Single Going Steady

This list was done off the top of my head in 3 minutes.
