An insider has been speaking to LTW about the new Black Sabbath album.

One of the most influential bands of all time the new Black Sabbath album is the first to have 3/4 of the classic line up in the studio together with Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler since 1978’s ‘Never Say Die!’.

 

Under the title of 13 and produced by Rik Rubin and with Rage Against The Machione drummer Brad Will replacing original Sabbath sticksman  the album is mooted for a June release.

There are also some initial dates on the world tour announced…

  1. Presumably they don’t think it matters that Anvil’s come back album from a 2008 is called ‘This is Thirteen’…
