Like a vast majority of music journalists, I myself once longed to be a professional musician - and in many ways I guess I still do. After you start to realise, however, that the likely-hood of that dream becoming a reality, is equivalent to the likely-hood of you backing a horse at 1000/1 and it crossing the line first, you decide you're perhaps best off just settling for the next best thing - writing about the beautiful, art form instead. So, having gained experience at NME, MTV News, The Independent, UNCUT, ZOO and FHM, writing about the wonders of music is exactly what I do now - for an array of brilliant print and online publications.
