ArcGenTent Festival will this year be held between Thursday August 17 and Saturday August 19 at Fernhill Farm, near Bristol, Somerset. Over the past few years ArcTanGent has built itself a solid reputation as one of the best UK rock festival for exclusive performances from outstanding worldwide artists and supporting exciting new emerging talent and being the perfect festival for enthusiasts of math-rock, post-rock, noise-rock, alt-rock as well as everything in between.

There will be over 70 bands to enjoy over across four stage’s this year, as well as a silent disco, amazing food and drink options and with capacity capped at 5,000 plenty of space to enjoy the environment with enough fellow festivals goers to create an amazing atmosphere.

Festival booker, James Scarlet speaking about ArcTenGent says “It has this amazing sense of community and really feels like we’re all part of a secret club that the rest of the world doesn’t know about. Watching an unknown, but amazing, band play at midday to a thousand people really helps with my faith in humanity! The ArcTanGent ethos is all about championing bands that exist just outside of the mainstream music world. We guarantee you the best acts from the worlds of math-rock, noise-rock and post-rock/metal. We’ve got some amazing exclusives this year. The fact is that both Converge and Explosions in the Sky are playing their only UK shows of 2017 at ArcTanGent. So if you want to see them, Fernhill Farm in August is the place to be!”

Along with the grainy snarling of influential Massachusetts Explosions in the Skymetalcore band Converge and the tender sparkling of post-rock heavy Explosions in the Sky whom are headliners this year; is an impressive line-up full of ohh’s and arrh’s. Japan’s math rockers Tricot, New Jersey’s hard core punks The Number Twelve Looks like You and London’s punk and chamber music producing ensemble He Was Eaten By Owls are just three stand out’s on a bill of stand outs.
