Competition: Win Tickets to Apollo Festival In York

Apollo Festival is in its second year after a very successful first iteration back in 2013. The organisers aim is to deliver “an unforgettable day full of live music and entertainment in York” – all in the name of raising money for charity! This year they have three stages delivering live music “by some truly talented bands and artists.” Louder Than War have four tickets, 2 adults and 2 children, to give away (which include access to a private aftershow party). Bands playing The Apollo festival 2014 include Rev And The Makers , Tom Hingley, Chris Helme, Mark Morris The Moods, John Ainsworh, Death To The Strange and more. Entry is at a bargain price of just over a tenner for adults and one pound for children (full prices below) and this is a non profit festival with all proceeds going to the smiley riley foundation!

“Our annual one day music festival will take place Saturday 21st June 2014 and will be returning to the superb grounds of York Sports Club, Clifton Park, York.”

“We have established a live music festival within the city of York and our aim is the same, to deliver YOU an unforgettable day full of live music and entertainment. This year we have three stages each will offer up lots of live music which will be delivered by some truly talented bands and artists.”

“Alongside our three stages we will have a variety of stalls, attractions and caterers from the local area. A large vintage funfair and lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy.”

“We had great support and a grand turn out for 2013 and we want to make our 2nd year as successful as the 1st but BIGGER ‘n’ BETTER for 2014, to do this we need you and your support to get behind Apollo, buy tickets and enjoy what is set to be a fabulous day all of which is in support of The Smiley Riley Fund.”

Sounds like a great days entertainment to us and with tickets at a low low low price of £12 for adults (£13.50 w/ booking fee) and just £1 for children it’s easily affordable too!
