‘….changed my life forever and the best punk band…’

7. The Jam ‘All Mod Cons’

‘I still love Paul Weller a lot. I know him a little bit and he’s a total dude but that aside again a life changing record for me at 18.’

8.David Bowie ‘Hunky Dory’

‘…he’s my favourite ever music star- even more than Lennon, lyrically genius quicksand is calling it- 2013 Bowie is so far ahead and even was in 1969…’

9.Rolling Stones ‘Exile on Main st’

‘The Stones best ever record again- Gillespie got me into this one as he did with Big Star- an unbeatable rock’n’roll record and Jimmy Miller’s finest work…’

10. Velvet Underground ‘White Light White Heat’

Joe Foster turned me on to this in 83…..it’s time for a Velvets revival I think, To be honest I love what they were going for with this album.

  1. A good list, kind of what I expected from him but nothing wrong with that. I mean I didn’t expect him to have Sinnerstar in there or anything relatively obscure but equally as good as anything in this list.
