7. PJ HARVEY ‘To Bring You My Love’

I saw her perform this at Glastonbury’95 just before I gave up drugs, or they gave me up. She’s one of very few people who have done innovative stuff with guitars since hip-hop, acid house and techno made rock music sound like flogging a dead horse. There are lots of bits of this album remixed in the TV series ‘peaky blinders’. I don’t watch much TV but I’ve recorded that series and will probably get around to watching it next time I have flu or something.
