Fred Perry have announced an evening of film and music celebrating 60 years of counter culture with the original sportswear to streetwear brand.

The Charlatans will headline the event at The Garage London on Wednesday 26 September, playing a retrospective of their music.

There will also be a showing of the Fred Perry Subculture film directed by Don Letts. The documentary charts the rise of British youth subculture in the 20th century.

Support will come from O Genesis signing Keel Her as well as DJ sets from Norman Jay MBE (Good Times), Don Letts and Terry Hall (The Specials).

A very limited number of £5 tickets were available via the Fred Perry Subculture website but as these appear to have been snagged within minutes of the announcement if you want to get along you’ll need to try your luck with competitions being run by Fred Perry or The Charlatans on their Twitter profile.
