As we head towards this summers Stone Roses concerts going down in London, Leeds and Glasgow Louder Than War announce the Official MADCHESTER pre/after shows. Put together by Manchesters acid-house party pioneers The Donnelly Brothers and featuring an amazing line up of the cities finest DJ’s the MADCHESTER pre/after shows are going to be without doubt ‘in the area’ at each date – and already looking like the place to be both before and after the Roses shows.

Right now as The Donnelly Brothers relaunch the Gio Goi clothing brand we caught up with Anthony Donnelly and got his thoughts on the upcoming official ‘Back With The Brothers-Gio Goi’ pre/after show parties…

Anthony Donnelly -“We’re  friends with the Roses and have known them for some time so they’re cool with us throwing together the official pre/after shows…because they know we put on great parties. The Parties we did for the Etihad Roses shows was the place to be, quality DJ line ups, all the faces and of course some banging tunes

Playing all the Stone Roses, Oasis and Happy Mondays anthems and of course all the Madchester classics with a sensational line up of DJ’s, including Graeme Park, Clint Boon, MC Tunes, Bez and live P.A from Rowetta, plus the Stone Roses official tour DJ Phil Beckett. We also talked to another DJ’s who’ll be playing at the shows and spinning some records, 808 States Darren Partington…

Darren Partington “The tune that gets me right at it when I DJ is this Roses remix (below) it creeps up on you and when it does … oooh its a little cracker. And just for good mancunian measure I’ll be droppin a little bit of yeerky yeerky ( the hardfloor remix), Roll on the Roses.”

…and also look out for the new single from the highly acclaimed Manchester group BIG UNIT with Darren Partington on lead vocals with ‘Falling
