The sudden closure of Team Rock has not only left a huge dent in the music writing world with the closure of some great magazines like Classic Rock, Prog and Metal Hammer as well as one of the few places you could actually hear rock music it has also left 73 members of staff at the company penniless just before xmas.

Whilst it would be great if someone could find away to resurrect these magazines as they have left huge hole in the music writing market it would also be good to tide the writers over in these harsh times.

73 members of the Team Rock staff were told that the company is going into liquidation and that they are being made redundant with immediate effect with ZERO pay. These are good, hard-working, committed people that through Metal Hammer, Classic Rock, Prog Rock, TeamRock Radio and more, have supported the rock and heavy metal scene in this country for decades and now we, the rock community, need to pull together to help give something back.

Please spare what you can so that everyone may enjoy the festive spirit. The link is here…
