Strummercamp 2012
Over the next few weeks we will be looking at some of the smaller UK music festivals; generally these events avoid corporate sponsorship, often they are run on a ”Ënot for profit basis' ”â as such it can be argued that these are the events that retain the true spirit of a music festival; we plan were possible to be able to offer competition tickets to the events we feature.
First up is Strummercamp; a not for profit event run entirely by volunteers who contribute their own time and energy to deliver a well run and friendly event.
The Jubilee Bank Holiday, June 1-3rd, sees the ”Ëmagnificent seventh' Strummercamp Festival return to Manchester Rugby Club for another weekend of great music to celebrate the music and influence of Joe Strummer and the Clash.

The Jim Jones Revue have been confirmed as Saturday night headliners with Dub Pistols,The Lovely Eggs, Rotten Hill Gang + a full supporting bill. The Jim Jones Revue are currently one of the best live bands in the UK, The BBC's Johnny Sharp wrote that the band's "string-shredding guitar, furiously chattering piano and blistering, blustery rhythm" meant that "you're bombarded with sonic viscera". They certainly don't hold back!
New Model Army will close the festival on Sunday night. Goldblade and Neck have been confirmed as supporting acts with many more bands playing throughout the afternoon and early evening.

Building on the success of teaming up with Manchester punk label TNS Records and Leeds underground promoter Hempen Jig last year, Strummercamp in 2012 will also welcome Manchester's Punx inna Jungle and Slit Promotions to the family. This promises to bring even more quality and diversity to the festival, increasing the number of stages to 5.

Besides the music, there will be the annual 5 a side football tournament, kids' activities and a full bar with beer at pub prices.

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
There is visibly a bundle to realize about this. I consider you made various nice points in features also.
The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
