With two top ten hits under their belts Dublin punk legends look for an unlikely hat trick with their new single 'Outsider Artist' featuring TV Smith who was filmed on an iPhone by one of Menace on top of a building in Tokyo whilst they were on tour there earlier this year.
The new Paranoid Visions album is due for release in September and features the above track and also has guest slots from the Shend, the singer from eighties Crass label band The Cravats, Rubella Ballet's Zillah Minx and a lead vocal from Crass legend Steve Ignorant. The album will be released by Overground records via PHD in europe and Candlelight records in America. It's taken a ridiculous 18 months to complete (two tracks were re recorded 5 times each!) Thats not the only issues the band has encountered though, the album sleeve artwork has had to be replaced with a more "subtle" image as iTunes and the American label thought is was "too strong", even the UK label described it as "Ghastly". It will still feature as the front cover for the direct sales but will be reversed with a secondary image for the retail version! The album will be relased on CD, download and vinyl (with a complete cd included with the vinyl edition as only 45 minutes of the 69 minutes can fit!)
Two singles will precede its release, A limited edition 7" (ltd to 500) and download single on hip new label Louder Than War (headed up by John Robb) and a cd ep on FOAD will both be released this summer
