Louder Than War troublesome favourites, The Fall have announced an autumn tour and a new album, their 29th. The album called 'Ersatz G.B' will be released in November. Before the album gets released the band will do an 8 date tour of the UK and have announced some festival dates.

The tour follows an appearance along with Goldblade and Steve Ignorant at the Incubate festival in Holland on September 18th before an appearance at the SWN festival in Cardiff on October 22 and All Tomorrow's Parties at Butlin's Minehead in December.

The Fall tour dates are as follows...

SWN Festival, Cardiff University (October 22)
Leeds Stylus (November 2)
Edinburgh HMV Picture House (3)
Newcastle Riverside (4)
York Fibbers (5)
Cambridge Junction (15)
Brighton Concorde 2 (17)
Leicester The Auditorium (18)
London indigo2 (24)

The upcoming album, which Mark Smith claimed would be a radical departure for The Fall and contain some 'Greek heavy metal' but will probably contain the usual brilliant skewed bass driven ranting and off the wall polemic, can be pre-ordered from The Fall's label Cherry Red Records' website.

The tracklisting of the album is:

'Cosmos 7'
'Taking Off'
'Kennedy'
'Mask Search'
'Greenway'
'Happy Song'
'Monocard'
'Laptop'
'I've Seen Them'
'Change'
