The Stranglers

Since forming in the 1970s as The Guildford Stranglers, the band now known as The Stranglers have had 17 top 40 albums. Originally a punk rock band, these albums have also followed genres including goth, new wave and pop. In 2000, guitarist John Ellis was replaced by Baz Warne. Their biggest hit to date has been the single “Golden Brown”.
