Clock DVA ”˜The Hacker’ ”“ Having brought you the news that Mute are to release a vinyl only Clock DVA box set in late 2011, well it wouldn’t be right for them not to make this weeks playlist. Originally released in 1993 on the ”˜Kinetic Engineering’ VHS video.

Wharf Rats ”˜Wharf Rats EP’ ”“ A hardcore super-group? Maybe, maybe not ”“ however in 2min 14 secs the combination of members of Anti-Flag, and Alexis On Fire show us that there is still life in the hardcore genre. Released 31st May 2011 by No Sleep Records and limited to just 750 7” copies.

Pulp ”˜Common People’ ”“ Jarvis and Co. made their long overdue return at the Primavera Festival (Read review HERE) ”˜Common People’ was the track that elevated them from cult to chart, and this appearance at Glastonbury 1995 was the gig that confirmed that.
