To put it lightly we’re completely blown away by the brilliant I’m With Her as their talents truly shine during this exceptional performance.

For I’m With Her their past work speaks for itself all three ladies have extremely impressive CV’s, whether it be Sara Watkins and her exceptional career with Nickel Creek and solo work. Aoife O’Donovan with her equally excellent solo career and many appearances on Prairie Home Companion. Or the Grammy award winning Sarah Jarosz who was also a regular on Prairie Home Companion.

Together though these ladies are a truly formidable trio, I’m With Her sees them harnessing the greatest of their individual talents and the results are beyond breath-taking. Tonight they arrive in Gateshead for their Evening With I’m With Her, from the off their talents ooze from every song. Their instruments pale into mere background noise as their voices shine through in such perfect harmony, you cannot help but watch on in complete awe of the trio.

You can hear a pin drop as this packed crowd is silenced by the beauty of their voices, with the likes of See You Around and Wild One these delicate tracks are fuelled by emotion and passion. Watkins makes the odd joke between songs but for the most part we’re left spellbound by these ladies’ talents. Their cover of Jim Croce’s Walkin’ Back To Georgia is a rare upbeat moment in this set, but a welcome one their breadth and diversity is wonderful.

However, it’s the latter part of the set which compounds I’m With Her’s true brilliance, the likes of Pangaea and I-89 leaving us lost for words. Such tender songs that you cannot help but fall in love with immediately, there is something genuinely special about I’m With Her tonight as it shines throughout their set, you cannot help but be bowled over by them.

A cover of John Hiatt’s Crossing Muddy Waters magnifies their talents once again, there really is nothing that these ladies cannot tackle and make everyone else sound completely ordinary. Tonight we are completely blown away by I’m With Her, whether it be their own or other peoples songs they make it look effortless their talents truly know no bounds.
