Fang Night are art and design graduates Ben Walker and Ewa Lefmann. The two-piece have been making music together since the age of 14 and are fresh from being shortlisted for Glastonbury’s prestigious Emerging Talent Competition.

They are a London-based electronic pop and Steady Cruising is the first in a string of single releases planned throughout 2017.

Starting off with a gentle euphoric sound, the throbbing bass and keyboards come in to produce a gorgeous New Order esque sound. The duo vocals just add lovely texture and the rhythms and melodies that the two produce are cleverly intertwined with distortion and samples that add to the layers that this band produce.

It’s really catchy, very insistent and feels very contemporary. I don’t think this will be last we will be hearing of Fang Night.

Fang Night can be found on their Facebook, Soundcloud and they tweet as @nangfight.
