Exclusive European Streaming of New Tracks By The Street Dogs
Yesterday we ran an interview with The Street Dogs Mike McColgan in which he talked, amongst other things, about the band’s new 7″, “Crooked Drunken Sons”.
Alongside the interview we suggested you check back with us today as we’d been granted the honour of presenting to you the exclusive European streaming of three new tracks by the band. True to our word, below you can find those tracks.
First though, a few words about the release, cut directly from Pirates Press Records website through which The Street Dogs now release all their material:
“Last November, during a brief homestretch in the middle of a whirlwind world tour, the band (with old friend Rick Barton, ex-Dropkick Murphys) recorded these tracks themselves at Johnny Rioux’s compound in Texas. Originally they were going to be demos to work on for the new album… but they are too good for that, so here they are!”
“”Crooked Drunken Sons” has been a moniker, of sorts, that the band has been playing with for a while now, trying to figure out if it would become a song, an album, or even the name of a side project. Well, it’s a song and one of their best! Backed up by two equally powerful contributions on the b-side, this record is stacked with that ’98 attitude!”
